Wishful was founded in December 2014 by Juma Issa Suleiman with a vision to empower the community through education and practical skills. Our focus has been to equip people with essential language and computer skills, alongside other activities designed to enrich students’ lives and future opportunities.
We began humbly with just 14 students attending our English course and 7 joining our computer class. In 2017, we achieved official registration with the government, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This recognition enabled us to expand our efforts and deliver our programs in a more structured and professional way.
By 2021, we began hosting international volunteers from various countries, including Italy, Germany, Spain, the UK, and Canada. These volunteers brought diverse skills, perspectives, and resources, which have further enhanced our programs and provided invaluable cultural exchange for our students and community.
To date, we are proud to have taught over 300 students, many of whom have gone on to achieve greater success in their personal and professional lives. Currently, we are actively supporting 78 students through our educational programs.

At Wishful, we are more than just a school we are a community dedicated to fostering talent, empowering the next generation, and creating sustainable change. Alongside our core courses in English and computer skills, we aim to expand into new areas, including talent development, entrepreneurship training, and more.
